Hello there,

I’m Chung Chiao Lu, but you can call me Chiao. I’m a 3D Game Environment Artist based in Los Angeles, with a strong curiosity for learning and a deep passion for creating immersive 3D worlds.

Growing up with video games, I’ve always been inspired by their unique way of storytelling. I’m especially drawn to how environments can quietly communicate history and emotions through worn materials, subtle details in grass and dirt, and traces of human presence. To me, walking through a game world is like reading a story without words.

Outside of games, I find inspiration in hiking and traveling. I enjoy researching different biomes and cultures, and weaving natural and cultural details into my environments to make them feel lived-in and authentic.
